With nearly three years of a long distance relationship under my belt, I consider myself to be pretty darn experienced with the hang ups. There are days where you're just frustrated with the separation and there are days where it's not so bad. Long distance has worked for us and in a way it's prepared us for this deployment.
I've learned to rely on my friends and family, and to stay busy with personal goals and hobbies. And when there's a quiet moment, I lean on music. So today's mix tape is dedicated to the long distance relationship--you're bitter at times, but oh how you make me appreciate the sweet.
